Homestay

 
International House English language school homestay team can arrange:

  • half board – including breakfast and dinner – with full board at weekends
  • full board – breakfast, lunch and dinner every day
  • self catering – you use the homestay kitchen and buy and prepare your own meals

Students have single or double (if requested) study/bedrooms and they never share homestay accommodation with students of the same nationality unless this has been requested.

Homestay with a British host family
Homestay accommodation is regularly checked by our accommodation officers.We ensure that we meet the standard required by

  • the British Council,
  • International House World Organisation and
  • EAQUALS.

Living with a host family will give you a good introduction to life in the UK 

A host family is not always two parents and children: many hosts are couples or single people

 

Most homestay accommodation is within 20 minutes travel time of the school.
