Testimonial - Martina Bisig

I had really a brilliant time in Newcastle and I learnt a lot for my life. I went to school at the internationale house in Newcastle for 6 weeks. After that I have done a internship in a creative agency as Graphic Designer for 10 weeks. It was great to study English with students from the whole world. We learnt the language and about the english culture. The social programm from the school was absolutly fantastic. We saw many differents nice places around north England and other Cities, went to the cinema or to a pub. Newcastle is really a fabolous city.

Now I have been ready for my internship. The agency was near the city centre aswell. My workmates have been every time very nice and helpful to me. I learnt more from the languag and my speak is more fluency now. The job was very intresting. I studied Graphic Design and went to the UK for more experience. It was great to see, how the work is in a diffrent country. Sometimes I thought and dreamed in English, that was very strange. It’s very good to do a internship, if you want to learn English for your job.

The combination of English lessons at the International House and an internship at a local company has been the best way to improve my English skills and gain work experience at the same time. I have met many interesting people and had a lot of fun during my 16 weeks in Newcastle with the International House.
