 15/11

IH Campus. FCE Use of English

I found this quite difficult as I did not know many of the words.I got 46%
16/11 IH Campus.Focus on Narrative Tenses Part 1 This was really useful and will help in the writing paper.
17/11Speaking test preparation. Cristina and I practised talking about the photos. I need to work on fluency and widen my vocabulary.I found that I needed a greater range of vocabulary.
18/11Mock Speaking Test  with John. John's feedback was really useful and I would like another mock test next week.
19/11Phrasal verbs with TAKE.Focus On First Certificate

These were easy and it would be better for me to practise some transformations for the exam

Tutorial Meryll is preparing well for the FCE exam and has identified her strengths and weaknesses. She communicates fluently with a good range of vocabulary.Meryll found the mock speaking useful but I would recommend her  to practise the different parts of the test separately before doing another complete mock test. She needs to work on some aspects of grammar and I suggest that next week she continues to work on narrative tenses and practises some task 2 writings. Meryll must remember to proof read her work for potential spelling errors.
